Professional Associations and Organizations
Datamaran is a contributor to business research of accounting and member organizations, including the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission (COSO) and The Conference Board. In January 2021, Datamaran signed an MoU with ACCA, with the joint purpose of educating CFOs on ESG risks, sharing insight through research, policy activities and events, and using Datamaran's patented technology to support training and development for ACCA members.
Additionally, Datamaran is also partnering with major standard setters, such as Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and SASB. The collaboration with GRI, which highlights the crucial role of technology in the field, aims at improving the collection, analysis and measurement of sustainability reporting data, while offering options for enhancing global tracking of GRI reports.
From November 2019, Datamaran also supports SASB’s standards development. By adopting Datamaran, SASB has supplemented its process of reviewing and monitoring company disclosures across multiple channels on sustainability topics, while assessing the materiality of these topics and analyzing the nature of company disclosure on them.
As part of these collaborations, Datamaran licenses and applies SASB Accounting Metrics in our offering and is also a GRI certified software.
We believe in empowering the next generation of future leaders with the necessary technology to succeed in a fast-changing business landscape. That’s why we work with top global universities, providing access to the full Datamaran platform for educational and training purposes - for free.
